Information you provide

Account information includes your name, email, account role, phone number when provided, and a password handled by our authentication system. Sessions may record an IP address, device or browser details, and sign-in timing. Renters may also provide search preferences, tour bookings and check-ins, applications, uploaded documents, messages, saved preferences, and identity-verification details. Owners may provide listings, availability, application records, and operational messages.

How we use information

We use this information to run accounts, match people with spaces, schedule and check in tours, process applications, support owners, prevent misuse, answer questions, and improve reliability.

Documents and verification

A renter may choose to attach documents such as proof of income or a photo ID to an application. The listing owner and BestSpace admins can view those application documents. Each uploaded document gets a deletion date when it is stored; the current default is 90 days unless a different retention period is configured before upload. Manual identity review stores the legal name, phone number, and note provided for review.

When Stripe Identity is available, Stripe handles the ID and selfie submitted through its verification flow and applies its own privacy terms. BestSpace stores the verification request and status needed to run the service. This is separate from any application document a renter chooses to upload directly to BestSpace.

Service providers

Providers may process information for authentication, hosting, databases, file storage, identity verification, operational email, error monitoring, and performance analytics.

Your choices

Use the Contact page to ask what information BestSpace has about you, or to request access, correction, or deletion. We may need to keep some records for account security, fraud prevention, or legal needs.
